I do like things!

Despite being often discontent with the world in general, there are many things I do really really like. I will list a few :)

- my friends, especially the likes of Salmon, Milkshake, Chocolate Milk and Ryssa

- warm, happy hugs that seem to last forever

- cappuccinos

- chill music

- my dog

- seeing weeds sticking out of the pavement

- grape lollipops

- sleeping in on a cold, rainy morning

- warm cream buns with a cold coca-cola

- the colour of the sky just after the sun comes up on a clear day

- the sound of the sea

- the smell of lemons

- long conversations with eloquent, funny people

- red wine

- memories of my dad

- old photograph albums

- the smell of books

- soft, cotton tee shirts

- tetris

these are some things I love, yes... love. I am capable of that emotion. I admit it :)

the hundred and twentieth post?

happeh, or not so much, valentines. so... i couldnt sleep very well. thats all i have to say. im tired. my feet still hurt.
i went to church thus morning. again my standing with my faith was affirmed when the woman, who my late father apparently called Bigfoot, who went off on a very traditional, so to speak, sermon. i think the reason jesus was "sent down" was to correct the morons who wrote the old testament. maybe god wanted people to know that the celestial being wasnt so bad. silly fire and brimstone. she talked about living life by teh scripture, not associating with non-christians and it all very much pissed me off. okay, so thats one way to look at it, but thats too much religion for one service for me. wheres teh faith in between all this scripture and worship? its not about following word by man, but using the ideas from well... the son of man. and lest we forget the good samaritan. its not about who we help, but how we help. arent we all neighbours? stupid bigfoot.
and ive been eating too many wine gums.
also, the princess and the frog is an awesome movie. i loves it. i think i go teary because it was so damn sweet. stupid sweetness. also, i might cry too much. oh well. :)

When I met...?

So i watched "When Harry Met Sally" a few nights back. i squealed, i giggled, i awh-ed. it was sweet, sad, beautiful, and funny. i wish things that happened in this movie happened to me. it was so damn sweet at the end. the characters may have been crazy, so crazy to be believable, and the story just so damn sweet...
The hair is retro, the movie is old, billy crystal is young, and i loved this movie. i nearly cried. i wanted so much for meg and billy to end up together. and they did. and i smiled. sometimes i think love might be real, especially after watching a movie like that, or finishing pride and prejudice. i feel like crying, but i think that something so widely used can't be fake. maybe. i definitely recommend it.
